Absolutely love this place! The cocktails are *chefs kiss* and the food is to die for. So simple and reasonably priced (charcuterie and toasties); the attention to detail is what makes it feel like such a treat! The staff are absolutely amazing. 11/10 would recommend!!

drinks were fantastic and creative, the small plate was shared between two and was loved between two, the waiter who served us was accommodating when an item of the menu had ran out. Would definitely come back !!

14 & 16 October : Two visits in one week. Thank you for having great customer service and friendly staff! The cocktails are delicious and they have a great wine selection. I’m sure I’ll be back again soon :) 6 months ago: Delightful small bar at the beginning of fish lane.

I had an incredible experience at Bar Brutus! The wine selection was outstanding, offering a variety of delicious options. The snacks were perfectly paired, adding a delightful touch to the overall experience. What truly stood out was the exceptional service provided by the staff. Both members of the team went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our visit was enjoyable. Their attentiveness and friendliness truly made the evening unforgettable. Really enjoyable bartenders, serving great drinks, and conversation. Chill atmosphere and bar. It doesn't get loud because it's super small. It has a large open window right next to the barstools. Highly recommend their signature drink with basil?? I believe that's the right ingredient. If I recall 💚 "green" is in the name on the menu. Leave a like or reaction if you find this useful. Enjoy 😉

Bar Brutus isn’t just a bar. It’s the vibe you didn’t know you were desperately craving. From the moment I walked in, I was like, “Okay… this is classy but cheeky… I see you.” The drinks? Delicious enough to make my ex jealous. The atmosphere? Somewhere between “I’m here to celebrate life” and “Actually, let’s just stay here forever.” If cocktails had personalities, these would be the ones invited to every party. Smooth, clever, a little spicy… exactly like how I like my evenings. Bar Brutus, you’ve got me checking my calendar for excuses to come back. Five stars and a thousand heart emojis if I could.

These guys really know their drinks. Have passed by several times and today, Wednesday, there were two seats available and we grabbed them. Thank god! Perfect end of a perfect night. Got two drinks each from two different bartenders amd the drinks were the best we have had in Brisbane yet and and the bartenders knew so much and were glad to share their knowledge. 10 out of 10! Really dont want to give a good review becquse then alot more people will know about it but they deserve it. Can't wait till next time we go there.

The moment we walked in, we were blown away with the amazing service!! We got served fresh cold water without being asked and the cocktails were delicious! When I asked for a straw I got handed it by a tissue so there’s no cross contamination. 100% recommend it’s so cute and small and affordable.

What a fantastic establishment! Some of the best cocktails I have had anywhere across the globe. Massive claim, but well deserved. The bartenders know their craft well. We even got a well detailed description of their pure chemistry of how they make some of their scrumptious drinks. The atmosphere makes it feel like a speak-easy, cosy and intimate. Food and bar snacks are available, plus you could get some grub across the road if needed.
